Abstract
Pronunciation is one of the language components which are considered very important. Some cases of language misunderstanding in communication using English language are caused by mispronunciation made by nonnative English. It is mainly caused by different sound system found between the English language and the non English language. The research was aimed to see the dominant errors made by student in five semester of English program in IAIN Parepare. The teacher can see how the students pronounced the Plosive consonant sound to make clearly students pronounces. The analysis technique used of research qualitative method description, to describe what the dominant error of plosive consonant sound. The subject of the research are the students from the five semester of English program which is consisted of 20 participants, the sample was taken by using random sampling. The result show the dominant error most students make is /k/, /b/ and /t/ sound. The first error that mostly made by students are the /t/ sound. The second is /k/ sound and is /d/ sound.
