Abstract

This study aims to analyze implementation of Google Classroom in learning English, the objective of this research is to get empirical data on the implementation of Google Classroom in learning English. The population of this research consist of 50 students from ten classes and the sample of the research are twenty five students. The research method used in this research was a mixed method. That is quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative method using a questionnaire and qualitative method using observation, interview, and documentation. The data was collected through observation, and interview, by using the data analyze model presented by Miles and Huberman, i.e. data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. It aimed to know the implementation of Google Classroom in learning English. Based on the result of the study, it was found that learning English using the Google Classroom application was quite effective in terms of student learning methods that were provided using learning media in the form of videos, pictures, and essay and the obstacles faced by students could be datated by giving free quotas to all students, not only that the teacher also uses other alternatives in the learning process, namely WhatsApp to address student complaints in using the Google Classroom application and can receive material and discuss with students.
