Abstract
In this age of globalization, technology has grown to the point where practically everything is technology-based. Technology is not only used at work but also in education. The availability of many applications on the Internet can make easier for students to learn and improve their English skills, one of which is writing. One of the technologies that can help students, especially language learners, in their learning activities is a grammar checking application. In IAIN Parepare's English study program, Grammarly is sometimes suggested as a tool for students to use to correct errors, especially grammatical errors in their writing. However, the effectiveness of that applications can have strengths and weaknesses. This study was aimed to describe the perception of Grammar Checker users towards the use of Grammarly at the English program IAIN Parepare. The researcher used qualitative methods to collect data.
