Abstract

This study analyzes the “Management Strategy of BAZNAS Pangkep to Increase Confidence of the People with Zakat”. It aims to find out how the strategy implemented by BAZNAS in Pangkep Regency to increase public trust, how is public hust in BAZNAS in Pangkep Regency is, also what are the challenges of BAZNAS in increasing public trust in pay zakat at BAZNAS Pangkep Regency. This study discusses management strategies to increase public trust in paying zakat. The development of amil zakat institutions has not been accompanied by increased public interest in paying zakat in BAZNAS Pangkep. Public trust plays a very important role in the success of zakat management, besides the building of public frust is one of the absolute requirements that must be owned by organizations that sell services, including amil zakat institutions. The method used in this study was a qualitative method by collecting data through observations, documentation, and interviews. Sources of data were from the management of BAZNAS Pangkep Regency and documentation from BAZNAS Pangkep Regency, and the research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted through data collection tools; observation guide sheets, interview guidelines. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. Testing the validity of research results extended participation, persistence ofresearchers, and triangulation. The results, public trust in Baznas in the Pangkep Regency had been well proven by the increase in the acquisition of zakat fitrah, infaq and shadaqoh in 2021-2022. The community also trusted the Pangkep Regency Baznas. This is related to two elements, namely the community is willing to accept the risks that may occur, because the community has entrusted everything to the Pangkep Regency Baznas. The community has also been willing to follow suggestions or requests made by Baznas, such as collection, distribution, and distribution. The mplycations of the whole series with various research objects based on facts, as well as various community sources such as civil servants, and other community leaders with various educational backgrounds and social statuses, are all very helpful in writing this scientific paper.
