Abstract

Al-Ghazali thinking about the concept of an ideal education still seem relevant and needed in today's era, needs to be studied and used as a source of materials and methods of Islamic education, amid diverse educational theories that made references to the institution, including the institution of Islamic education. primacy of thought of al-Ghazali on education with aspects derived from the Qur'an and al-hadith. Islamic education is ideal if the thought and its application is a process of formation since the beginning, tailored to the child's development. From this aspect, which needs to be considered is the material is an integrated, developed the concept with extensive knowledge, develop communication skills, and forming attitudes that students think, and behave in positive ways.
