Abstract
Psychoeducation for Increasing Student Knowledge about Gifted Children. Situation. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of psychoeducation on increasing peer knowledge about gifted children. The research method used. The research design used was Pre-Experimental Design with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. This research was conducted in Makassar with a sample of 8 new students from the Faculty of Psychology UNM who took the MK in Educational Psychology, and were willing to take part in the research. The data collection method used is a formative knowledge test which includes 10 multiple choice questions. Data analysis compared the results of knowledge test scores before (pretest) and after (posttest) psychoeducation treatment was given. The results showed that there was an influence of psychoeducation on increasing students' knowledge about gifted children where the subject experienced an increase in knowledge scores about gifted children.
