This Research is motivated by the constraints felt by Students’ in online learning media, namely Microsoft Teams in the implementation of online learning.This research aims to Know and analysis how is the students’ perception of using Microsoft Teams Application and How to develop English learning using Microsoft Teams Application.

The method that researcher used in this research is qualitative – descriptive by applying ethnography study approach, This study aims to examine in depth the use of Microsoft teams as a media in distance learning English subjects in class XI of SMAN 10 PINRANG. The respondents of this study were 20 students as informants. Data collection was carried out using observation guide , interview, and documentation.

The researcher found the data conducted from the data that Perception of Students’ by using Microsoft Teams in the learning process more efficient and make students easily receive the material and apply their assignment but is not effective because the students’ can’t face to face to their teacher, there are pro and contra about the use of Microsoft Teams in students, points that students’ pro such as helping students communicate with their teacher in distance learning, the contra points such as the data they use is unstable. Also, the advantages of Microsoft Teams such as there are no time and place restrictions, the disadvantages such as, prepare funds for purchasing quotas.
